Aris’ work driving new methods for estimating the COI just came out on bioRxiv. Available on GitHub, coiaf provides a faster method for measuring the COI that can leverage all SNPs across the genome. It also provides continuous measures, which can help provide more nuanced population measures and insight into relatedness.
