GENETIC EPIDEMIOLOGY OF MALARIA MEETING

Ozkan and Jeff have been attending the GEM meeting in Hinxton, UK. Oz presented his pilot work using MIPs to comprehensively assess drug resistance across the entire DRC. This will hopefully be a growing collaboration to expand our sequencing within central Africa with collaborators at the Kinshasa School of Public Health, UNC, and Imperial College.
